Josh Nathan

Josh Nathan has over 25 years of experience in the law and business of nonprofit organizations, including as general counsel, strategist, senior management executive, and board member. Josh’s firm works with mission driven organizations, providing counsel and representation in the matters unique to nonprofits, including nonprofit formation and IRS exemption, compliance and tax exempt status protection, governance and board engagement, fundraising, grants, sponsorship and marketing deals, changes of control (M&A, reorganizations), and providing outside general counsel services including for contracts, intellectual property, labor and employment, and dispute resolution. Josh returned to private law practice after serving as general counsel to Thirteen/WNET-New York Public Media. Josh is a graduate of Cornell Law School and Vassar College.
